Summer Starts Here at Wimberley Summer Camp

School is almost out, the days are getting longer, and summer is officially around the corner. If you’re looking for a fun, active, and engaging way for your child to spend their summer break, Wimberley Summer Camp is ready for another exciting season of adventures, creativity, and unforgettable memories.

Hosted by Wimberley Parks & Recreation, summer camp gives kids ages 6–12 the chance to stay active, make friends, and experience something new every single week.

A Summer Full of Adventure

Every camp week has its own unique theme, keeping campers excited and engaged all summer long. From high-energy competitions and creative projects to games, challenges, and hands-on activities, each week brings a completely different experience.

Campers can expect:

More Than Just a Summer Activity

Summer camp gives kids the opportunity to build confidence, try new things, and stay socially connected during the break from school. It also gives families peace of mind knowing their child is spending the day in a safe, structured, and positive environment.

At Wimberley Summer Camp, the focus is on creating experiences kids will remember long after summer ends.

Flexible Weekly Registration

Families can register by the week, making it easy to build a summer schedule that works best for them. Camp is held at the Wimberley Community Center, with activities running throughout the summer season.

There is also a Counselor in Training (CIT) program available for ages 13–15 for teens interested in developing leadership skills and gaining hands-on experience in a camp setting.
