Reflecting on the 11th Annual Boo! Hole at Blue Hole Regional Park

While we still have a few more days of Halloween festivities ahead, we’ve officially wrapped up the 11th annual Boo! Hole at Blue Hole Regional Park! This year’s event was one to remember, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.

Boo! Hole wouldn’t be the beloved community tradition it is today without our incredible sponsors, vendors, community partners, and volunteers. A special thank-you goes to our title sponsor, Ally Medical, for their generous support. We’re also grateful to King Feed for sponsoring the hay maze and Visit Wimberley for providing a fun photo opportunity and our mechanical pumpkin. Thank you to all the local organizations and businesses that handed out candy along the trick-or-treat trail and helped make the evening extra special for families.

These partnerships reflect what makes Wimberley such a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family. We appreciate the time, generosity, and enthusiasm our community brings to this event and are thankful to share our passion for recreation, connection, and creating lasting memories.

This year, Boo! Hole welcomed more than 3,500 attendees to Blue Hole Regional Park for an evening of Halloween fun! Families enjoyed the trick-or-treat trail, live music by Chasing Tigers, a mechanical pumpkin, and our annual costume contest. The haunted trail delivered plenty of spooky thrills, thanks to the incredible actors from Central Texas Theater Academy. Food vendors Monster Treats, Roughhouse Brewing, Texas Sweet Sips, and Rocky Mountain Crepes also helped keep everyone fueled throughout the festivities.

As the Wimberley Parks and Recreation Department’s largest event of the year, Boo! Hole takes tremendous planning, coordination, and teamwork. It’s rewarding to see families return to enjoy their favorite attractions while making new memories each year. We’re proud to create opportunities for our community to come together, celebrate the season, and enjoy all that Blue Hole Regional Park has to offer.

Although this year’s event has come to an end, we’re already looking forward to next Halloween! We welcome your ideas and suggestions as we continue working to make this tradition even better. For feedback or ideas for future events, please contact Recreation Manager Rachel Littleton at [email protected].

From all of us at the Wimberley Parks and Recreation Department, thank you to our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, community partners, staff, and everyone who came out to celebrate with us. We hope you have a safe, happy, and fun Halloween. Until next year, Wimberley!
