This July—and every month—Wimberley Parks and Recreation is where you belong.

Celebrate National Parks and Recreation Month with Wimberley PARD!

July is National Parks and Recreation Month—a time to recognize the vital role parks, recreation, and community spaces play in the health and well-being of our town. From cooling off at Blue Hole to exploring local trails or participating in summer camps, Wimberley’s parks are more than just places—they’re where memories are made, connections are built, and nature is preserved.

This year’s theme, “Build Together, Play Together,” highlights the power of collaboration in creating vibrant, inclusive, and fun parks and recreation experiences.

How to Celebrate with Us

🌟 Join us at City Hall
We invite the entire community to attend a special proclamation at the Wimberley City Council meeting on Wednesday, July 3rd at 6:00 PM. Help us recognize the power of parks and the people who make them thrive.

🌳 Explore Your Parks
From dawn ‘til dusk, our parks are here for you. Whether you’re swimming at Blue Hole, hiking through the natural beauty of the region, or visiting the Community Center, there’s no shortage of ways to enjoy the outdoors right here in Wimberley.

🎨 Participate in Year-Round Programs
Our team works hard to offer recreation and education programs all year long—from summer camps to star parties, guided hikes to adult fitness classes. There’s something for every age, every season, and every interest.

💚 Support Conservation and Community
Every visit, every program, every shared experience helps protect our natural spaces and strengthen the sense of community that makes Wimberley special.

This July—and every month—Wimberley Parks and Recreation is where you belong.
We hope to see you at the proclamation, in our parks, and at our programs all year long.

Let’s celebrate the power of parks together!
