The City of Wimberley Parks & Recreation Department is hiring seasonal, part-time staff for Summer 2026.

These positions are a great first job for high school and college students looking to gain experience and make the most of their summer, while also offering a flexible seasonal role for applicants of all backgrounds.

What Positions Can I Apply For?

All positions are seasonal (May through September) and part-time:

  • Park Supervisors: Manage daily operations of City parks and facilities, including upkeep, staff supervision, and visitor engagement. Lead and support programs, events, and community activities.
  • Park Attendants: Monitor park areas, communicate rules to guests, and ensure facilities are clean and well-maintained. This hands-on, outdoor role focuses on providing a positive visitor experience.
  • Camp Supervisors: Lead groups of campers and supervise Camp Counselors throughout the summer, creating and implementing fun, educational, and engaging activities.
  • Camp Counselors: Provide a safe, fun, and engaging experience for campers by leading activities, managing transitions, and supporting healthy habits. Ideal for energetic, patient individuals who enjoy working with children.
