2026 Sponsorships Now Available
If you’ve ever watched the sun set at a Blue Hole spring concert, cheered on runners at the Polar Bear Plunge & 5K, or taken your kids to one of our free seasonal programs, you know that Wimberley’s parks are more than green spaces—they’re the heart of our community. Every year, thousands of residents and visitors come together to swim, learn, explore, and celebrate in our parks.
But here’s something many people don’t realize: the City of Wimberley does not collect a property tax, and because of that, our Parks & Recreation Department receives no direct tax funding from residents. Instead, our operations are powered entirely by the revenue we generate ourselves—primarily from swimming admissions at Blue Hole Regional Park. That single source of income is stretched to support seven city parks, the Wimberley Community Center, community programs, event series, and the staff who keep it all running.
That’s where community partners step in and truly make an impact.
How Sponsorships Support Our Parks
Sponsorship funds directly support the costs of hosting high-quality, safe, and inclusive programs and events—things like educational materials, instructors, equipment, marketing, safety supplies, law enforcement support, and more. These contributions allow us to keep programs free or low-cost so all Wimberley families can participate. We also welcome in-kind donations, from equipment and printing to entertainment and food. These contributions are recognized at the corresponding sponsorship level based on fair market value.
Your Business Will Be Seen
Our audience isn’t small. Our reach extends across Wimberley—and far beyond it. Here’s who you’re connecting with when you sponsor:
-
4.1 million website views in 2025
-
4,000+ monthly newsletter subscribers
-
74,000+ combined social media followers
-
10,000+ annual program participants
-
250,000+ yearly visitors to Blue Hole Regional Park
That’s a lot of eyes—and a lot of community engagement.
