Join us in this thrilling marathon and plunge in Wimberley!
Celebrate the New Year on January 4th with Blue Hole Regional Park’s annual Polar Bear Plunge & 5K! This event brings people together to start the new year off with a splash! The 5K route begins in Blue Hole, winds through downtown Wimberley, and ends with a plunge into the ice-cold waters of Cypress Creek! There is live music, food and drink vendors, games and prizes, a fire at the fire pit, and more!

- 9:00am : Event Check-In
- 9:30am: Stretching/Warmup
- 10:00am: 5K Begins
- 11:30am: 5K Ends
- 11:30am: Awards Ceremony
- 1:00pm: Polar Bear Plunge Ends
Notes
- Included in registration is admission to participate in the 5K, a special event t-shirt, drink tickets, and a swag bag.
- If you are just plunging, you do not need a ticket.
- Make sure to bring a change of clothes!

- Registration opens November 1st. Tickets will go fast.
- $30 per person – Earlybird (11/1 – 11/15)
