The Ride to End ALZ is a cycling event for a range of riders, whether you’re a novice cyclist or avid enthusiast. Select a distance that fits your skill level and pushes you to earn a medal you will cherish. With each mile, participants will fuel cutting-edge research targeted to change the trajectory of Alzheimer’s disease.
All routes start and finish at the Blue Hole Regional Park in Wimberley, TX, which is considered one of the hidden gems of Central Texas. The 20-mile route is perfect for beginners that want to enjoy the view of the cypress trees and wildlife while riding along the Blanco River and through the flattest part of the Texas Hill Country that you can find! The 40 and 60-mile routes will be a bit more of a challenge and quintessential hill country heading into Driftwood and passing by some unique exotic animal farms and the wineries that are making this area extra special. The 100-mile is for those of you truly looking for the Hill Country challenge and you’ll need to train to make sure your legs are ready for some extra climbing!
