The Wimberley Parks and Recreation Department invites you to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with a community festival honoring the beauty and importance of our feathered friends! The Texas Hill Country serves as a vital stopover for migratory birds like the Black-capped Vireo and the endangered Golden-cheeked Warbler. Enjoy a day filled with a birdwatching walk, art and craft activities, and interactive games for all ages. Learn how to make your backyard more bird-friendly and connect with local organizations dedicated to conservation.
