Experience the secluded charm of our exclusive Primitive Camping Area at Blue Hole Regional Park. With 10 campsites reserved solely for scout groups, immerse yourselves in nature’s embrace and forging lasting bonds under starlit skies. Unplug and create cherished memories amidst the rustic allure of our captivating camping destination.
This facility rental does not include access to the swimming area. Swimming reservations may be purchased concurrently with the camping reservation.
The nearest restrooms are approximately 900 feet from the campsites and will be available 24/7 during the reservation. Restrooms do not have showers. The front gate at the park will be closed and locked nightly at sunset. Scout leaders will be given the gate code in case of emergency.

Unless the facility is already reserved, all facilities are available when the park is open. 8 a.m. to Sunset everyday except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Please keep the following rules in mind before making a reservation.
- No ground fires.
- No glass containers or alcohol.
- No smoking or vaping.
- Pets (of any nature) are not allowed to camp overnight.
- No fireworks/sparklers, piñatas, or confetti.
- Tree jumping/climbing will not be tolerated.
- No fishing.
Check the Hays County Fire Marshal website for information regarding burn bans. Grills may not be used during an active burn ban. If Hays County is not in a burn ban, charcoal grills may be used.
Water fountains are available for use attached to the restroom buildings, but please bring any additional water if needed.
