Wimberley Community Center Receives Tech-Driven Revamp
As part of the City of Wimberley’s initiative to upgrade technology at its recreation center and rental venue, the Wimberley Community Center has made new improvements to its offerings! The center has replaced the projector screens found in Johnson Hall, the Blanco Room, and the Cypress Room, and has introduced portable television screens. Additionally, the Blanco and Cypress rooms have been given a visual improvement in the form of a new coat of paint and wooden accent slats.
The center’s new projector screens and televisions were installed by Now Press Play, owned and operated by Matt Wiedemann. At 12 feet wide, Johnson Hall’s new screen accommodates the recently implemented wall-mounted short-throw projector—a setup perfect for any visual presentation or film viewing. Add two 65-inch televisions on wheels, and your presentation is guaranteed to reach all attendees, even in a fully packed room. Similar projector screens have been installed in the Blanco and Cypress rooms. All new screens feature motorized retraction controlled by remote, an improvement on the previous ones.
The Blanco and Cypress rooms have also received a visual makeover. Certain walls have been repainted, from off-white to solid black. To add some contrast to the new color, our teams has also installed wooden slats along these walls from floor to ceiling. Visitors have enjoyed the bold look afforded by the spaces’ new accents.
